Recreate: Work Look Inspiration
I posted this gorgeous photo up in one of my very first posts. I wanted to recreate it since it was so simply so beautiful!
Here’s a refresher on the original look –
And my recreation of the look 🙂
I didn’t use any eyeshadow, instead was focused on recreating a fresh luminous base without to many competing colours. I also didn’t use any blush, just some bronzer to contour with. I did use some mascara, and to look even more awake, I thought that adding a light blue to my waterline would add in some interesting colour without being OTT (a flesh toned pencil would have looked really well to). I was going for a paler pink for my lips and I thought that this YSL glossy lip stain would turn out lighter than it actually did. I didn’t want to waste the colour by wiping it off, so left it as I didn’t think it looked to bad 😛 It contrasts with the blue so well and verrry slowly faded throughout the day. My shirt is by Marcs (I love their collared shirts, they look so tailored and well fitted! I’ve only got this one atm, but will have to get some more soon, even though they are a little exxy..) and the jumper was kintted by my mum! 😀 I’ll show the shirt in full view next time.
