New Goodies: Lush Valentines Goodies & Lime Crime’s Velvetine in Pink Velvet

Yes – I have a couple more new goodies to show you *blush*! Lush always brings out some gorgeous limited edition goodies over Valentines day! Valentines day is only a week away, which in itself is crazy (mid-Feb already?!? But we just started the month!). The only thing that annoys me about the limited edition goodies is that the most popular products go out of stock way before Valentines day and they don’t get re-stocked… not good if your a last minute kinda person :/ So if you want to get your hands on some of these goodies, you have to get them STAT!

I bought a few doubles of the products shown below as I was buying a few for myself (of course :P) and also for a friends birthday.

Above we have:

Two Timing Tart Bubble Bar: “Lose yourself in the hypnotic scent of our Limited Edition Retro Bubble Bar, Two Timing Tart. With the sweet flick of her Strawberry hips and rich Coconut Cream, imagine immersing yourself in her gorgeous pink, bubbly waters. It’s enough to wash away anyone’s sins.” I love Lush’s product descriptions 🙂 The bubble bar contains coconut cream, Jasmine absolute and Geranium oil. I looove the scent of this bubble bar – it’s very similar to the creamy candy bubble bar, maybe a little more floral because of the added Jasmine. It smells sooo delicious!

Neon Love Soap: “This is a unique soap with an uplifting, fruity fragrance. Bergamot and rosewood work together to create a rich scent, whilst fresh figs, passion fruit juice and soya yoghurt nourish and soften the skin.” How good do those ingredients sound?! When you buy the soap, you get a little block of the stuff, but the whole ginormous soup actually looks like this (below) which is amazing!

The scent of the soap is a little different – like a sweet passionfruit yoghurt lol that’s the best way that I can describe it! It also contains coconut oil, cinnamon leaf oil and bergamot oil.

Prince Charming Shower Gel: “With marshmallow root, Fair Trade vanilla and fresh pomegranate juice, Prince Charming will sweep you off your feet and carry you off into the sunset, leaving your skin silky soft and smelling lovely – the fragrance is made using a beautiful blend of grapefruit, sandalwood and geranium oils.”  I thought that this shower gel would smell quite ‘intense’, but it’s actually quite a subtle scent.

And last but not least!

Soft Coeur Massage Bar: “The honey toffee bar with a soft core. The Soft Coeur was designed for a romantic tryst. It got its name from its chocolate and honey soft centre, which you can melt and smooth all over your lover’s body to make him or her extra tasty. Helen wanted to call it Soft Centre, and it morphed into Soft Core before metamorphosing into Soft Coeur. It’s made with honey and suitable for honeymoons. It’s as good for your skin as it is for your relationship.”  It also contains cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil, glycerine, sweet orange oil and bergamot oil. This does smell like chocolate with just a hint of honey – YUM! I’ve never had a Lush massage bar before. I looove my body creams and butters and I like to feel super soft after applying them, so the thought of rubbing a block of something all over myself just seemed rather difficult and not as moisturising. However, the scent and look of this massage bar got me, and maybe it would work more on particular areas than all over? Like getting someone to massage it over you back? (I know, it took me a while to come to this realisation lol) And I like the sound of that, so I’m going to give it a go!

The shower gel is for the gift, but for myself I also bought a bubble bar, the soap and the massage bar. The material the products are ‘presented on’ is one of Lush’s recycled scarves – they use these to wrap gifts up in. I loved this purple and orange print and it reminded me of my friend so I had to buy it! I suck big time at wrapping gifts, but to wrap something in a scarf seems rather easy and quite presentable! 😀 She can then re-use the scarf to 🙂 What do you think?

Not toooo shabby is it? 🙂 Oh and bonus – all of their scarves go for $5.50 Aus gold coins, which is  a bargin and you are helping the environment! You can check out all of their goodies including the Valentines day limited edition goodies here.

And look what came in the post today! 😀

How amazing is the colour?! The texture looks wonderful to! I also really like the box it comes in lol the roses and the reflective colours. I’ll probably be keeping the box even though I don’t need it for anything (it’s not big enough to re-use, but it’s so pretty!), yes I have problems. Red Velvet is my all time fav velvetine, but I can’t wait to have a play around with Pink Velvet <3 I do also have Suedeberry but it doesn’t suit my colourings at all :/ I will do a review on them soon 🙂 They cost $20 each (US gold coins) and you can find them on the Lime Crime website here!

Have you tried any of the Lime Crime Velvetines? Or the limited edition Lush goodies?
