New Goodies! Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder
I was sooo excited to get these and I’m not disappointed 😀 I was able to buy two colours – Mood Light and Dim Light. The packaging describes the colours very well and they just sounds beautiful… Here’s what the packaging says about the two shades:

Mood Light: Create your perfect light. Ambient Lighting Powder us a universal finishing powder that creates the lighting effect your desire. Mood light is a soft, sheer lavender pink powder that mimics the softest most forgiving light and reveals your brightest complexion.
Mood Light is on the left (as is a reflection of my pj’s pants haha) and Dim Light is on the right (photo above). The powders are so finely milled, they feel like silk. I’ve only played around with them a little bit, but I am already in love! I will most definitely be using them in some upcoming looks.
In the photo above the swatch on the left is Dim Light and on the right Mood Light.
I once had a Hourglass eyeliner pen and it was terrible. For a ‘luxury’ brand I was very disappointed. If you have wanted to try something from their line of cosmetics, I can highly recommend these even if they are not the cheapest. You can find these powders at Mecca Cosmetica in Australia or at Sephora overseas.
