New Goodies! Bioderma, Nars, Yes to Carrots and Avon.
I recently collected some new goodies which I thought I would share with you 🙂
When I reviewed Erborian’s CC Creme a little while back, I said that I probably wouldn’t be trying anymore CC creams or BB creams for that matter (if you want to read why, take a peak at my original review here). Well I gave in when I saw and read a little about the Bioderma BB cream. I thought that if the colour of the bb cream was light enough and it contained a high spf, it may be a good solution for summer time when you’re on holidays or feeling a little lazy! I will definitely do a review on it soon. I bought the colour ‘light’ (it was the only colour available on the site I bought it from).

I also needed a new body cream/lotion, so I re-purchased the Yes to Carrots Nourishing Body Butter. I love this body butter. It’s not to heavy or greasy, but very nourishing and has some great ingredients. I paid only about $11 for it at Priceline (here in Aus).

As you might have seen from one of my previous posts I’m going through a matte eyeshadow phase. I bought two Nars single eyeshadows in Yamal (on the right – limited edition) and Kamchatka (on the left – this eyeshadow is new but has been added to the permanent line). I love the way new untouched shadows look! Can I just say, that not long after this photo was taken, somehow my beaglette got her paws on Kamchatka and chewed the packaging *sigh… the shadow has a little crack in it and the packaging has teeth marks all over it but luckily I will still be able to use it and luckily I didn’t loose to much of the shadow. It definitely doesn’t look as nice as the photo below now lol

I also received two samples of Avon’s new skincare line ‘Vitale’ – a day cream and night cream. It’s targeted at 30 + women with stressful lives. The effects of stress on your skin can be inflammation, dehydration, premature ageing and wrinkles. While the age guide is great if you’re not sure what skincare products to choose, your main guide should be your skin concerns as everyones skin is different. I think this line would be also perfectly suited for twenty somethings as well as they are not immune from stress either. While you can’t see the full effects of a new skincare product after one use, it’s good to gage how your skin will react to the product and see if you like the texture, how it sinks in etc. One thing that annoys me with Avon skincare products is that they don’t tell you in the brochures what are the main ingredients of the product are and what active ingredients are. More information will help you choose the most suited product for your skin. I will give them a go and let you know what I think!

Have you tried any of these goodies? Would you like a review of any product in particular? 🙂
