Nails of the Day: You Are Worth It
Another gorgeous shade from L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Le Vernis collection – number 617, You Are Worth It. This colour is a mid-toned grey with fairly neutral undertones (possibly leaning a bit more cool). I loooove this colour! It isn’t to in-your-face, but is a change from your usual neutrals (think pinks and beiges). So it is seriously cool.
Like with the other nail polish I have tried from this range (Green Couture), the first coat of this polish goes on quite sheer and a little uneven. However, the second coat comes out opaque and smooth (I think these gel like formulas need that one ‘gel coat/base’ to work their magic). The colour range of these nail polishes is amazing – so definitely check them out at your local drugstore (I bought mine from Priceline and unlike Green Couture, this shade is available online). I find that with a base and a top coat, these nail polishes last for a good 5-7 days. This second colour is very consistent in regards to formula and lasting power (very alike to Green Couture) so I have high hopes for the rest of the shades in the collection!
