Nails of the Day: Spicy Orange

I am most definitely going to need to go on a self-imposed nail polish buying ban VERY soon! I don’t even want to count all the nail polishes that I have bought over the last 2 to 3 weeks… But before this buying ban takes place, I do have some new colours for you to check out 🙂 I know that orange is very trendy at the moment (it seems to come around every summer but in slightly different tones). I’ve been loving orange tones not because its warm and balmy in Sydney (because its not lol we are slooowly going into winter) but because it brightens up my day like no other colour! It’s a colour I’ve shyed away from in the past, but when you start wearing it, you really cannot stop! I bought another – yes another! – L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polish shade, this time in no. 304 Spicy Orange. A very gorgeous orange red shade, very vintage inspired 🙂 And very much like my Hourglass opaque rouge liquid lipstick in Muse or Mac’s Lady Danger lipstick (which I will be reviewing this week!).

Luckily Spicy Orange was a dream to work with unlike Atomic Purple! The gel like formula went on like a breeze and is probably the smoothest colour I have tried out of the Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polishes. Even the first base coat colour was smooth and vibrant. A second coat, makes the colour even more rich and vivid! There really isn’t anything I can pick on with this formula and colour <3 The cute little 5ml bottle will only set you back $6.95 from Priceline 🙂
