A little while ago a reviewed a new brand on the blog (a new brand for me that is) Erno Laszlo. I reviewed their Hydraphel Skin Supplement Toner (a hybrid product somewhere between a toner and essence) and I loved it! I’m happy to reveal that one of the other products I received in my Erno Laszlo ‘gift pack’ (which I bought for myself over the 2019/2020 New Year period, to try out the brand) I also love and am a BIG fan of – their very popular, Phelityl Night Cream. Let’s ge
Who knew that Marc Jacobs Beauty now does skincare?!? Not I, until a couple of weeks ago when I spotted the new Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturizing Gel-Crème on the Sephora Australia website. I bought it on a whim, not reading any reviews on the cream (very unlike me!) because it just sounded SO good and might be a cheaper ‘dupe’ for my much loved, yet very expensive Rationale Catalyst Gelcreme. Every second/alternate evening, I use an acid based skincare routine before bed.
I love a good moisturiser! And boy, do I LOVE this one! I bought it on a whim last year before a holiday to Europe because it’s packaged in a light plastic tube rather than a jar. It was a bit risky I admit, buying a new skincare product before a holiday, not knowing if it will work well with my skin… but that’s who I am – a reckless, risk taker LOL 😂 😝 I just had a good feeling about it, you know?! And I wasn’t wrong which is the best part! This cream is everything that I
Go-To is a brand founded by Zoe Foster Blake. Zoe is quite famous here in Oz and to be honest, if I could swap my life with her, I probably would… lol! Zoe used to be a beauty editor for various magazines and then founded an online beauty resource called Primped which was quite interactive back in the day. Think Youtube videos, forums, reviews etc., as well as a blog (Zo They Say which was called something else to begin with…. Tutti Fruity? I’m not sure if that was it, let me
Finding a good moisturiser for day time use is important! Hydration benefits all skin types and is essential if we want our skin to function well. I recently got my hands on Ahava’s Active Moisture Gel Cream and I have been using it for a few weeks now. So is this a goodie? The first thing you might notice about this moisturiser is that it is called a ‘gel cream’. It has a similar texture to Biotherm’s Aquasource moisturiser if you remember it (they stopped selling Biotherm h
Hi Beauty Bees! I started using Dior’s moisturisers from their Hydra Life range about a year or two ago and now I don’t think I can stop! I know the price is a little scary at first, but they last so long (one jar lasts me a whole season, so 3-5 months depending how much you use it) that I think they end up being really economical (who thought I would ever use that word, ha!). They have quite a choice of moisturisers to choose from, so there really is something for everybody.
I love skin care products which contain goats milk (or any other kind of milk for that matter). They tend to me more soothing and natural. Billy Goat Soap’s body moisturiser is no different. It’s actually pretty darn good! Much better than what I expected. For a ‘lightweight’ moisturiser it’s incredibly hydrating. It’s also so gentle (and non greasy) that you can use it on your face to (perfect for the lazy man that lives in your house!). At first when you start to rub it in,
